Gearing Type -
ICE offer Derailleur gearing and Hub Gear systems.
Derailleur gearing systems are lightweight and efficient and they are serviceable by any bike shop around the world. Hub gearing systems, which house the gears inside the hub to protect them from the elements; are robust, require little maintenance, and allow shifting at a standstill and while freewheeling.
Hub Gearing - Nexus
The Nexus Inter 5e Di2 hub offers riders both electronic manual and fully automatic gear shifting in a low maintenance rear compact hub. Making it a good choice for electric trike riders who like the idea of automatic shifting but also would like to manually override and change gear themselves at any time.
